Our trails are holding up, and all courses are current as of 4:30pm 2/24/17. Race course maps below are marked by age group. Check back for updates here. The McCauley Mt staff and the Festival committee are working together to make this happen. Saturday race has been changed to skate/freestyle, Sunday will be classic. The parking lot of McCauley Mt. is a muddy mess, please wear proper footwear while going from your car to the yurt. If you have muck boots, rain boots, wear them!
Just a quick note to say that PBSC is excited to host the Mid-Atlantic festival, and look forward to skiing with you all! Weather is not ideal for us winter people, but McCauley Mt. is working hard to make sure our event goes as planned. We have a nice base on our trails, if weather causes some challenges, then we will need to be flexible with our courses for skiers. Lets hope everyone knows how to count laps, if we have to go that route. I hope by Thursday/Friday to have course maps up for you to see .
One big change for Saturday………We will start the festival weekend off with SKATE/FREESTYLE races.
Waxing will be fun for all this weekend, we all are wanting to have fun!!!!!
Note: We have no electricity for waxing at our yurt/nordic center, please plan ahead.
